Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Just thought I'd add that #80267 (Large scale volumetric object with large step size causes rendering artifacts on CPUs in Cycles.) and #89353 (2.93 - Cycles Volumetrics - GPU and CPU results look inverted (Distance vs Equiangular sampling)) can also probably be closed when Cycles-X is merged with master.

I was asked by @ThomasDinges to post a collection of bugs/regressions in Cycles-X here. Some of these have been reported before on other sites, but they are not officially being tracked anywhere in the public so I have reported them here.
#91425 (Cycles-X: OpenVDBs render differently between CUDA and OptiX)
#91428 (Cycles-X: Spring demo scene shows large performance regression )
#91429 (Cycles-X: Persisitent Data does not allow for the changing of sample counnt.)
#91427 (Cycles-X: Viewport display is distorted upon render finish with adaptive sampling and a non-one pixel size.)
#91426 (Cycles-X: adjusting viewport render settings in a certain order can result in the viewport turning dark)

I found a new bug with the latest cycles version #91431. I causes crashes when switching between render devices.
A bug for Cycles-X was reported here that you may want to take a look at: #91441 (Bump node isn't working as planed. We need to Bake it so it works.)
I was asked to make a bug report for Cycles-X I found just to keep a track of it. It can be found here: #91476 (Cycles-X: Changing "Start Samples" in denoiser resets viewport render)
A report that should be closed when Cycles-X is merged into master: #91479 (Rare effect on shading)
This report can also be closed with the Cycles-X merge with master as NLM was the cause for this issue and is no longer in Cycles-X blender/documentation#77185 ("Noisy Image" pass not matching "Combined" pass is not well documented.)
Unless there are plans to return NLM to Cycles-X in the future?
