Description
Some versions ago, hovering the mouse exactly on the line of the n-panel(greeb area) let you resize it. Now for some reason it's offseted to the left.

Hi, thanks for the report. I can confirm on master. Probably the issue has been introduced with the visual updates to the panels. (Will find the bad commit)

This has already been an issue for a long time on the toolbar area as well.
Hopefully there can be a fix for both the sidebar and the toolbar when this get's worked on.

This this can get annoying quickly, I will dare setting this to High prio

The issue with the tool region has been around since forever (2.80). I think it is a stretch to make this a high priority issue, but I will let the UI team decide that. It should be fixed anyways (and it is likely easy, just a matter of updating the action zones in the viewport).
Tool region: yes (and this is of course related), but the sidebar issue is new (and at least personally, I am resizing that much more often than the tool region)
For anyone fixing this: Remember to make sure you don't break editors like the Compositor that still have the old-style N panel (and are working well currently).

Will take a look very soon. This is either an easy fix or I’ll add good notes here.
