Short description of error
The generated thumbnails on new files are showing the file explorer from the moment that I saved the file. Here is what it looks like if I want to open a file:

Save a file and look at the thumbnail.

Can't reproduce this issue here. Perhaps this needs specificv timing? Or its platform specific... @lichtwerk can you check?
Mostly because
File preview typeis set toscreenshot.Don't think this is platform specific.
Set file preview type to Camera, that may fix the issue: {nav Edit > Preferences > Save & Load > File Preview type -> Camera}
This works fine here even if I set File preview type to screenshot.

@jenkm , we have a report for this particular issue: #91859 (Blend file thumbnail shows the file browser)
Well, there are no clear steps to reproduce the error, so I think you can merge them. Or wait for additional comments from the author.
I can reproduce with these steps, Looking at provided screenshot closely, I think we can safely close this as duplicate.
