Selecting some vertices and trying to center the selection crashes blender. See the crash log

Open the attached .blend
Select the object
Go into edit mode
Select all vertices
Center (press Numpad .)

Do you have steps to reproduce crash from scratch? or it only appears with specific file?

(Priority can be changed for crash report but not really sure for this task.)

Actually it has nothing to do with the Solidify. Here is an another simple scene without Solidify. Go into the edit model and use the lasso selection to select some vertices.

Tested using 3.0 Release.

I don't know how related, but I can easily get repeatable crashes from selecting and centering in scratch created files with Geometry Nodes modifier.

Vertex select crash only happens in wireframe view mode.

In my tests and the files posted here, either muting Realize Instances node or toggling off On Cage for GN modifier (and any other modifiers lower in the stack) stops the crashing for me.

I met the same problem with my project(blender 3.6.1).
If I disable SubdivisionSurface, no problem. Only occurs in wireframe view mode, and selected any vertex.
