Thanks for the reply Yevgeny. It seems like this springs from the same issue and it's been around for four years!!!!

And the issue here is that, for some purpose I don't understand, the menus are automatically split into columns. This doesn't work with either small menus (like Blend Modes which look differently in various places) or huge ones. This is absolutely non-standard, users do not expect this and do not know how to work with it. So if it was a normal menu in one column with scrolling, then at least it could be used.

And here is another problem that Blender automatically adds hotkeys for menu items. Instead of how it works in native OS menus, something like progressive search, when you can select an item by typing on the keyboard. What would solve the problem of navigating a huge menu.

This might be simple-ish fix: make these lists single column if they would overflow https://developer.blender.org/D6362

I think it won't work well in this case. Let's say you add another object and the list becomes longer, and at the same time the way it's displayed changes? The same thing if you switch to the searchable list depending on the length. There should be a searchable list initially or just always one column.

This is really the same as #72093 (UI of Dropdown Menus : long list of EnumProperty Items (ColorSpace, Language, RemapUser ID) is partially hidden).
It should be solved, fully agree, but no need to have a separate task open for this.
