Geometry Nodes 3.2 Targets #95453

These are priorities the module discussed for 3.2. Everything here probably won't make it into the release, and other things might come up instead, (especially depending on contributor involvement) but we have the goal of at least making progress on all of these tasks.

The larger goals are:

  • Curve data structure refactor For better performance with many splines in "hair-like" situations.
  • Named attribute nodes For better flexibility and to solve workflow issues
  • Finishing patches for curves and meshes Many patches from Johnny in this department
  • Miscellaneous workflow improvements New socket types, warnings from field evaluation, other utilities.
