glTF File Export with MSFS Exporter broken in 3.2 and 3.1 Builds of Blender #96112

Exporting a project in 'addon' for MSFS for exporting glTF files no longer works and causes a black screen error report.
Export a scene and it creates a fail 'black screen'. Posting the files.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Select parts of scene to export, export as glTF for MSFS, failure occurs.

I know you all do not deal with addons and you are hard at work with making the next versions of Blender. I just thought this 'might' be of interest, a sign of something that might have taken a wrong turn, a future issue, and that it might be of interest.

Team Asobo (studios) in France are presently making a SDK kit for Blender users so this might help with that also. I do not use their new SDK (yet) as its prototype and for 3.0, where I use 3.2.

I thought I would let you know about this. I reverted back to 3.0 today in the hopes of trying to get my plane project to export again, 2 days of experimenting to figure out whats going on, and only reverting to 3.0 got it working. Blender 3.1 and 3.2 both refuse to export now, and my SDK version I am using for exports is perhaps 6 months old, approximately. So something in the newest Blender versions is causing the exporter to crash. Also... It imports files fine from glTF from MSFS. But it cannot export.

MSFS is Microsoft Flight Simulator version 2022. Newest flight sim from Asobo Studios.

I know you do not usually work with Addons, so if you need to delete this task, no worries. Just wanted to let you know if the issue.Screenshot 2022-03-01 113057.jpg

Hello,

Proxy management is now removed from Blender.
Seems the addon needs to be updated, but it is not managed by Blender team or Khronos team.
Please report directly on bug tracker of the addon.
