System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.17763-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 511.79

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.2.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-03-14 00:08, hash: b959f603da
Worked: 3.1

Short description of error
If not heavily zoomed, it is very very tricky to connect two nodes ...

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open new General template, create geometry nodes group and try to create new link few times.
It doesn't work very well, my success rate was only 20%

Short description of error
Extremely difficult to catch the handle of a node if not too close or too far using the mouse too

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
It's extremely difficult to catch the handle of a node socket if you click exactly in the center of the socket. Especially if you've zoomed out a bit. It's somewhat easier to catch the socket handle if you hover the mouse from the inside of the node in direction of the socket name. Things are better if you've zoomed either far out or far in. Zooming in or out in the middle of working, makes it a very tedious process. I've noticed that this is not the case with the Shader Editor, of the Composition editor, it only happens in the Geometry nodes. Thank you!

I have noticed yesterday, that even with mouse creating links is bit more difficult than it used to be. But don't know whether with tablet it is same or worse.

@PMA33 @ilirbeqiri is this same with mouse, or is it worse with tablet?

Richard Antalik changed title from geometry node noodles connection/deconnection unusable with wacom tablet to Can't drag noodles in geometry nodes editor 2022-03-15 23:05:23 +01:00

@iss I have no tablet to test this on, but there seems to be a shift in the position where you're supposed to click and drag the noodle. You have to click more inward the node, towards the socket name for it to behave correctly.
