System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1050/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 457.30

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.1.2, branch: master, commit date: 2022-03-31 17:40, hash: blender/blender@cc66d1020c
Worked: (not sure)

Addon Information
Name: LoopTools (4, 7, 7)
Author: Bart Crouch, Vladimir Spivak (cwolf3d)

Short description of error
In theory, looptools -> curve can let parallel loops follow selected loop, but this function only works on y-axis.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. add a plane, subdivide 9 times
  2. select a vertex, move along z-axis, then select 2 vertices on x-axis, use looptools -> curve make loop curve
  3. select whole curve, looptools -> curve, doesn't work as expected
  4. use same method along y-axis, everything works well (here is the video)2022-05-03_19-11-44.mp4

Rotating the mesh 90 degrees doesn't solve the problem, so it is not related to the mesh topology.
