System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19044-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 512.15

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.1.2, branch: master, commit date: 2022-03-31 17:40, hash: cc66d1020c
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
[Please fill out a short description of the error here]
5 UDIM tilles... they show up as normal in eevee, but if I switch to cycles, it feels like some of the tiles have switched locations...
no purple... just textures not with normal mapping.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Please describe the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]
I wish to make this file as small as I can and to simplify, but its hard to do so as I am working with a very dirty scan downloaded from sketchfab. (client wants it dirty)
I am very new to UDIM, so it took me a while to figure it all out...
I brought into substance painter to create an emissive channel, then exported the file back out to blender...
and after hours of figuring out. I managed to get it to work in eevee. but I really need it in cycles, but the mmapping goes off and not really sure why.
as far as my searching for fixes...
ive only imported the base udim
I exported the mesh from substance and tried to use that.
just hard to recreate, but based on how my computer is reacting, I would think its just the massive 2million plus mesh...
I did cull the unseen verts via geometry nodes, but that does not seem to affect the bug...

you will see the bug just by switching from eevee to cycles...
iver tried decimating the mesh, but because the texture mapping is based on random faces... not really sure how to consolodate textures to follow the texture.
