System Information
Operating system: Win 10
Graphics card: GeForce 1080ti

Blender Version
Broken: 3.2.1
Worked:

Short description of error

When I select anything, prop,}camera or Light in the viewport it causes flashing red/blue/white/green color streeks that look like long triangles shooting from the camera. I have tried 3 1080tis one by one and have the latest GPU driver. I have a second system with 3 Geforce 1660s that I not showing this issue, perhaps the 1080ti is the issue here?

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Select anything in the view port
Based on the default startup

Thanks for the report. Could you upload system info file?: {nav Help > Save System Info}
This seems GPU related issue from the attached screenshots.

I think so too on the GPU the system has 3 1080tis i have taken them all out and put each one back in 1 by 1 and still get that issue. I have a second system with less powerful GPUs 1660s and it works fine both have sam eOS and Driver versions.

I moved the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 to my other system and the problem followed it, I tried all 3 GPUs, and all three caused this issue. If anyone else out there is using this GPU and working fine or you found a solution around it please let me know, thanks

I use they everyday in C4D with Redshift and have no issues there with them

renderer: 'Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 3.8, 256 bits)'
vendor: 'VMware, Inc.'
version: '3.3 (Core Profile) Mesa 11.2.0 (git-aa91c51)'

As far as I understand you are running blender on Virtual machine. For rendering it uses llvmpipe and not your NVIDIA graphics card
This setup is not supported, see [manual ]] and [ https:*www.blender.org/download/requirements/ | minimum requirements
Reports on similar setup has been reported previously and were closed as invalid: #67024 (Text not visible) for example
Feel free to comment if there is misunderstanding, I'll reopen the report in that case.

Hi there Pratik, no I am running this on hardware, a Boxx system with a ton of resources. I have VMWare installed on the system I use for other things but not to run blender on. Blender is using my GPUs at least they show and check in Preferences etc.

Hi, system info has not captured other 3 NVIDIA GPUs. So I don't think blender is using GPUs

I tried Blender 3.0 and everything works fine :-/ 3.1 and 3.2 are giving me the issue, I can use 3.0 and try new releases as they happen, but 100% 3.0 is not giving me those issues

This does not show the GPUs used by Blender for drawing, it just showing the available compute GPUs for Cycles, which is not related.
If possible, can you try to uninstall VMWare temporary and retest?
Is your monitor connected to one of the 3 GPUs directly?
Do you remember if you downloaded a DLL file and put it somewhere before? A file whose name probably includes opengl.

I have tried with and without the OpenGL "fix" The issue only happens on 3.2.X 3.0. and 3.1 I am not running into the issue

@pszennybill can you check if this happens when you download latest alpha build from https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/?

Perhaps check if you have forced Blender to use particular GPU (most likely integrated one), this shouldn't normally happen and if portable version won't work, I would advise to reinstall OS.
