@liveasx Stop removing people following the patch, that is another kind of useless rudeness. That is also your final warning, next time I’ll have to disable your account. We do not have time to deal further with that kind of behavior.
@liveasx As for your “Team or Person” concern, I have to clarify that we have a voluntary translation team for manual and UI maintenance.
A sticky post have been here for bug report and user feedback.
Nevertheless, patch submission is a more appreciated way to improve the UI translation.
But I think you should pay more attention to quality of your patch(a totally mess in your patch, review progress still at 1/7) and the way you express yourself(your vulgar words above).
For example, clip in clip Alpha means cut(截断), not movie clip(剪辑).

This last (impolite) comment from Asx appears to be pointing out character glyphs there are missing from the font he is using. I wonder if some confusion is the basis for this (heated) discussion,
His is a team?Are you jokeing me?come on! https://developer.blender.org/rBTS4923
@Bastien Montagne (mont29) zdy (NGENNGT) is not a team, just a personal, the Chinese translation is very very bad, I give Blend a little contribution.. I have fixed a lot of translations and added a lot. I feel that they are hindering the development of chinese in Blender!
@Bastien Montagne (mont29) Thank you for your trust. Confilict is really not what I want, but some users' bad manner is not what I'd expect. We will solve this within our border.

@liveasx I do not read Chinese (as a side note to everyone, communicating in English is required on this site, so that everybody can follow), but for what I can see here, you are not behaving properly. @zdy (NGENNGT) and his team have been working on this translation for several years already, and they are responsible for it currently as far as I am concerned.
@xueke pei (yuzukyo) 翻译修正几千行随便看了几句就认为只是删除fuzzy这么简单?删除fuzzy只是批量!
This submitted patch has been sent out directly by deleting the fuzzy translate items in many places.
The translation of an interface is not one man works.

@Bastien Montagne (mont29) @Bastien Montagne (mont29) him zh_CN translations is very very bad!I updated patch is nice!
@liveasx Thank you for you diff submission. I'll finish the as soon as possible. But since it's a big diff, so review needs time.
Hi @liveasx, and thanks for the patch. @zdy (NGENNGT) is already maintaining the zh_CN translation, so I think best is to let him check on your patch…

Old task. Not sure on Translation status in Blender 2.8 or how addons are handled. Archiving.

I've also found:
"Axis" string is sometimes used as a plural word. (Should be "Axes" in such cases).
"Mirror", not relevant any longer. Thanks!

Currently (as of hash: rB0ee75698d05e downloaded today) the tooltips (showing both tool name and description) for the Tools icons in the 3D View are showing untranslated.
I remember I have translated strings for the tools names and tooltips, but they are not showing there.

@Tan Sineng (JazMaybe) I have added you to the documentation project so you can commit this and any future translations on your own. The username/password matches whatever you used on this website.
Hi I have given you commit access please just commit translations, no need for review.

Considering it works on windows for you means its not something on the server side, at the same time, im not sure why this is failing for you. Maybe try to clear previously-saved credentials, by deleting ~/.subversion/auth

Authentication fails, same authentication I use on Windows, it works there.
Here is a screenshot:
Does command line work?
I use svn commit -m "message" to commit changes under Linux.
Maybe you can try it.
@Aaron Carlisle (Blendify)
I just checked. I still can't commit using Ubuntu.
It appears you got this working now, closing.

"Path", in the context of particles appears in the Render > "Render As" dropdown option (and respective Options Panel Title).

*on particles Parent/Child:
There is a difference in that child particles are "derived" or "interpolated" particles, created and related not to a single parent particle (and its properties), but to several parent particles. I mean, "Parent"particles are particles which are fully independent on its own, but the "child" particles are not standard particles that have been attached to the main ones, in some sort of object hierarchical relationship, but instead are interpolated particles that do not even have their own parameters and therefore use the weighted parameters of nearby main particles to just exist.
So, it's not the same type of hierachical relationship users know from object parent/child relationships, and believe me (at least in Spanish) the particle parent/child terminology used for standard object hierarchies looks weird for this kind of stuff. :-/
Might be wrong here, since I've only been working with Git and Blender's patch system, but I think you need to submit a patch if you don't have write access the the SVN repo. See here: https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Process/Contributing_Code

Due to hw incompatibilities, for now I can't work on 2.8.
I will restart on 2.8x series after upgrading my hw. See you.

Terms listed by Gabriel Gazzán are also problems in Simplified Chinese UI translation. When will all of these be fixed?
Apr 3 2019
Archiving for now - it's not considered a bug, even though it would be a nice feature.
It would be nice if Blender could detect the system language. But that is more a feature request than a bug.

@Michael Soluyanov (crantisz) might be, but we'd expect minimal reactivity from our translators… No news since over two weeks, closing.
Poorly, that it turns out one of the most important parts is left without translation...
So, categories are actually taken from templates' file names, so would also consider those as data… supporting translations here is not impossible, but would require some work to do it in a sensible way, not sure that is really worth it currently? In any case, that would be a TODO, not a bug…
Workspaces are data, so their names are not translated in the UI (user can edit them as they want by double-clicking on them). Not sure about the categories…

Technically fixed in rBa4869df4c9d272, update of SVN repo is coming soon.

Yep, tools system has no support for i18n currently, working items are just shear luck.

@Stephen Swaney (stiv)
This is a bug, on another note, the font is not working properly, notice the squares instead of letters in the screenshot.
Is this a bug or a feature request?
Can you please tell us which language you want to work on?

Thank you :D
Hi, and welcome, added you to the project, within a few hours at most you should be able to commit, once you have set up your SVN access. :)
Can you please tell us which language you want to work on?
I stand corrected. Good to know!
This is indeed the documented procedure for joining the translations.
Um, i came here through Development > Translators > (image associated), i'm not sure what else i have to do ? Or can I just get straight into editing the .po files ?
Perhaps there is a Get Involved link near the top of the page at blender.org you could click on.

Thanks for the investigations, I ended up adding all 'extended cyrillic' chars present in DejaVuSans font.
Hey @Kongfa Waroros (gongpha), thanks and welcome aboard. :)
I wasn't able to produce the issue, I tested on Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 x64, it seems good from my end.
On another note, Can we add these two U0525 and U0524 to the mono font as well, it's missing there, How can I know the list of fonts that has been merged for the mono?
Mar 3 2019
Copy U0525 and U0524 from DejaVu Sans
