Can't build, once again.
Jul 26 2014
Thank you so much!!
Can build with OSL cycles ON
I can build successfully with the following configuration
Probably a conflict with cycles OSL?
here we are again
tried to build today
Jul 13 2014
You don't have to place it in the center.
Reminds me the other, fixed bug. to bake tangent maps correctly without applying rotation

Thank you Jens
Building successfully with everything ON
configuration, like this
Jul 7 2014
Let's stay calm Jens
To tell the truth, my most concern is, why Ton still builds in buildbot without supporting OpenMP? I wonder.
Irrelevant to this thread, but still wondering.
Sorry, missed this.
Here is the terminal after "successfully" finished the build
After all these new updates
The build under my setup goes well,

0a0e4e0e698e is working
I did a bisect and I found that the commit that introduced the problem is 72ac596e19dd
Here is the .sh file
May 29 2014
I had my tests. Lot of them.
So far, it works fine.
I also performed tests including arrays combined with curve deform. I also tested alt+S on the curve bezier.
Lot of deforms and rotations.
Cycles bakes them perfectly.
I believe it is fixed.
May 19 2014
You should add a blend file
Anyway, I confirm this.
It doesn't make any sense.
This"temporary" UI solution goes more and more inconsistent.
May 12 2014
This bug is here, some time now.
Just reminding, the wrong object space I was getting, trying on a sculpt imported from zbrush.
Zbrush tends to rotate x 90º. Easy to not see it. So, wrong OS if not applying rotation. (Direct bake)
And completely wrong, when bake to active.
Lot of complains and failures of new users may be related to this.
The file bakes well in blender internal
Cycles render is still wrong, in the half an hour ago build hash 3557094
Can't confirm it marco
OSX hash 3557094 (half an hour ago)
Testing your uploaded file.

Bake to active now bakes bumps. Excellent!
Normal maps don't show bumps though, both to active or direct baking.
Of course it is a feature,
Thank you for the nice work so far.
sorry for the same name of file
Please try this one
These are two objects one on top of the other.
the targeted mesh is multires and has a noise texture as bump (procedural)
the top, the active mesh has only an active texture for making.
Delete this texture then, It was for testing bumps after all.
just try to bake a combine.
May 9 2014
Do you really think that the texture was the case?
A jpg file?
BTW, dropbox is just fine for me.
I have to stop sleeping, lol, please, give me a brake.
Sorry, I had to say it.
I know, it has to go this way. Patience is required.
Mentioning another bug report now. Sorry, my fault.
There is another bug reporting, running.
Selected to active, combine. I get black image. Whatever value on distance.
BTW, still no crashing here, the right way, it seems so!
chashes seem to be stopped. !!
Still not able to bake TS maps on the above blend files-tests.
This time I get blank=blue TS maps, however, one triangle black, the other blue. If this means something.
Still, can't bake except a blank = black images when trying on other projects. Bake to active mode. (combined). Normal maps can be baked though. (with the exception of the testing blend).
I wonder. Is this testing file valid? Maybe I should try a fresh one? I saved it, maybe something wrong there?
May 8 2014
I have same crashes using buildbot builds (I think still no openMP there) , and my builds (OpenMP+OSL no Cuda)
1 trying the first on the upper left. (1 material)
the top plane as active, trying the curved surface as TS nmap. Crash
grab it from here
Just reminding you,
Using the script in the console avoids crashing, however it renders a blank=blue TS map. Other baking options work well, with or without the script.

It works beautifully.
Physical cores (in my case =8) is the best. 16 threads not so. Expected.
Many apologies for my manners,
Thank you very much.

Without exact details no one can do any real comparison.
Visit the BArtists forum, the blender tests/dyntopo tests and ask for opinions.
we are the artists who participated in the blender dyntopo and multires sculpting development.
And, you are who?
I already posted links to posts where same complains happening.
You didn't read them.
Sorry, wrong behavior.
Now, I'll share your reply to the blenderartists community.
Let's see, be my guest.
Surrealism at its best.
No open MP support yet.
The worse OSX blender build ever!
Apple must be responsible for this crap.
Sorry, not a convincing excuse. Apple vs blender devs. Surrealism

Thank you for replying.
See here on BA forum
Doris is on a new iMAC i7 (27) nVidia lot of RAM. (I think on OSX 10.8.5)
Same behavior though
disabling multithreaded sculpting stops lagging.
However, it is the first blender that does not support this important feature.
I'll keep a 2.69 for multires sculpting. Serious sculpting I mean.
Thank you for helping.
I wonder, how do you build on OSX with OpenMP support.
I wish I could find someone and ask for advises.
I'm not a programmer
All the builds from buildbot,
and, all my builds
working just fine,
All the previous 2.69 and back official builds working fine. (and, openMP make a lot of deference in sculpting (multires) mode.
2.7 is not.
You made something wrong.
Please try to fix it.
Mar 14 2014
indeed, "." fixes it. ctrl+. also fixes it.

yes, it is 6a2c467 OSX
I can pin by shift clicking, I can un pin by shift clicking (or by RMB)
But if I ctrl+click this unpins everything, Ctrl+click should function differently. Now it works like shift click on pinned elements.
Obviously it is a bug.
Also checked on linux and windows builds.
