Also this specular value is calculated also from the ior? This specular can turn things into metal and also has colors, I believe it should not be the same as the specular in Principled BSDF, since the one in Principled BSDF cannot turn things into metal and does not have colors tint.

I see that it changes active object, but swaps it back.
I'm not sure if this is a suitable solution, because while working in isolation mode, you might forget you went into it and use the QCD slots by number, so mode and active will be lost.
It is easy to forget about mode when you are concentrated on complex object or scene.
So I think dropped message is the most stable solution to not to loose the active object.
Meanwhile, when I started my test I remembered about another functionality seems to be missed. I am discouraged that I could forget about it.
Of course running this already shows that baking was already broken
So, question is if temporary IK should obey standard rotation locks on bones in the chain (not just the the IK locks -- these are always respected) too?
- if using AutoIK alone, these are respected (with or without this patch -- regardless of chainlength)
- if using targetless IK only, these were never respected (with or without this patch -- regardless of chainlength)
- if using targetless IK and AutoIK together, these will be ignored with this patch, with rB9a7f5f1bb422 these were respected regardless of chainlength, prior to rB9a7f5f1bb422 these were only respected with chainlength zero.
Also can't reproduce.
apparently the z angle limit doesn't work either since you can see them turning freely way more than 30 degrees (since my angle limit was -15 to 15)
I cannot reproduce the problem here.
Try running blender from the command line with the --debug-gpu option.
After trigger the bug, you can copy information from the command line into a .txt file and attach it here.
I can confirm, that preview is not updated when scrubbing timeline, Render is updated.
I confirm that the Percent mode messes up the entered value.
Hello again. I recreated a similar setup in a new clean file.
- now the file is clean and has only 1 rigid body world. I did nothing in it besides adding a few boxes and empties between them.
- they are not intersecting at the start anymore
Ok, thanks. I'll do that.
Thanks for the report, but I cannot reproduce this with either the latest stable or current development versions of Blender.
wow I always found this so weird. I hope 1 day I could understand how to help there. I did this for the console. this is adding in python all needed functions to edit text in a normal way. integrated in C would be great https://github.com/1C0D/console_easy_text_edit-Blender/blob/master/README.md
Can you upload or provide link to brush library?
It feels like a High Sierra problem.

@Ludvik Koutny (rawalanche) I personally try to fix any report, regardless of its subtype or priority. Tagging this as "Known issue" was a mistake, sorry about that.
Thank you, Timberly. I was going nuts and that worked for me - turned off all devices except my headphones and rebooted Blender, headphones then worked. Very helpful. Masterful use of punctuation in the dialect, btw. I used google translate Texan to Northern English to extract the necessary bits, lol
Personally I like the idea of having get/set/alloc etc at the end. It groups the ordering inside the IDE especially when a lot of changes happen in that area. But on the other hand having a strict definition of get/set/alloc would also help as most likely you know what you want to do. I think these kind of topics work better when posted on devtalk.
Actually, one thing I still want to double-check is the conversion of protectflag to the bPoseChannel ikflag here again (since that part is not done when adding the temp constraints from add_pose_transdata and is thus skipped in this patch)
The opencl kernels depends on compile directives. This patch would compile the kernels as if all the features enabled, but not all branches.
Of course running this already shows that baking was already broken

Other than my nitpick whitespace comment, LGTM.
Can not reproduce on windows.
Is there previous Blender version that did not have this issue? Does this happen when you click on File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings?
Sorry, thought that this was already committed.
In case you missed it, please see my comment above where I show how to recreate the problem from scratch. The comment starts with "I installed the latest build: blender-2.91.0-6624c4c22514-linux64. The following steps will recreate the problem.".
Ah wow, that does look related. I only searched for color picker tasks and found none.
I can confirm, in my case crash occured on frame 155
I hava tried blender-2.83.5-linux64, blender-2.90.0-linux64，blender-2.91.0-26a827f25448-linux64, downloaded from the official https://www.blender.org/，the same problem happened.
I first created bones for the main object,
One minor comment to address, I think you can fix that and commit directly.
@Richard Antalik (ISS) ASAN is fairly explicative:
Found it: T80537
I can't reproduce this from scratch.
I have the same problem in grease pencil when drawing very fast. After debugging, we saw that the number of events received was not enough, especially on windows.
