This doesn’t seem fixed. I got the same weird colors in properties with hash: rB0721fbb6e1e2. The next restart didn’t have the issue though.

It’s not just union. I got a crash using difference with solver set to fast. Seems it sometimes deletes the entire mesh and that’s when the crash happens.

I don't think this is a addon issue. I added a blend with code. Not seeing anything in it that adds spaces in front of name and cause KeyError. That has to be some issue with layout.prop_search code or something.

Yeah, this seems to have been corrected. Can't get it to happen in latest build.

I think the problem, is showing a python tooltip that can't seem to be used or a bigger problem which is below.

Yep, switch to sculpt layout and it happens. It’s not just the brush size ,but any brush settings. Had this happen in past without going to sculpt layout.

Seeing this also. You don't even have to do it in Sculpt Mode.

Appears to be all nodes doing this. I just tested the cloud node and it gives the same error.
I little more on this issue. If this isn't a bug, how do you get this to work? Why is there python popup and printed in "Info" if you can't change it through python? Works fine if not going through nodes bpy.data.textures["Texture"].use_flip_axis = 'VERTICAL'
Sep 15 2019
It does get more confusing the more you play with it. Seems it works if you keep your cube vertical.

I was able to reproduce on just default cube after saving that file. I think it was T69785 causing it. Updated blender this morning after the fix and not having the issue anymore.

I only had this happen with nodes ,but after the “new” file browser got added, I’m getting this while trying to install matcaps.

OK, looks like this is a keymap issue. Not sure why "Confirm on Release" is on by default.

OK, I think I know what's up. I think I saw somewhere where preferences is now auto saved. Haven't found the setting yet ,but don't think that should be on by default.

Yeah, with python tooltips enabled I get that. If I disable python tooltips I get this. Hard to make out anything in that ,but you can pick out words that get filled out in the bug report.

Try doing it in edit mode. I see you're doing this in weight paint mode. I can get the same results as you if I'm in weight paint. Looks like this is a undo issue in edit mode.

Looks at my edit. I found something that seems to work according to docs. Looks like it just fails to print everything in the Info window.
Your example gives a error.

You're right, it does happen in 2.79. Maybe the default cube needs UVs removed and all the primitive operators have "Generate UVs" set to False by default? Who really needs UVs on primitive objects.

OK, it still happens with a build from today. Here's a video showing the issue.

@Sebastian Parborg (zeddb) Look at the screenshot again, in the middle to the right side. The "File Selector Drop" gets enabled and tries to "preselect" the picture at the location of the cursor. You can see the "blue 9" is selected, which is "blue_9.png" . I can make a video if needed? Pretty quick to make as "Invalid".

You need a blend where you can create the vertex groups and get the same results? I found something else that might not be related ,but seems to be a issue.
You can also remove everything ,but the decimate modifier and you still get the same results and error.

Everything was done inside Blender ,so I don't think it has anything to do with the .dae. Looks like there's another bug report about this https://developer.blender.org/T60214 Even following those steps, I couldn't get it to happen. Maybe it was a bug that got fixed?
OK, so I tested copying code that was tabs and unchecked the "Tabs as Spaces" and it seemed to work. I guess that explains why copying the text wasn't working. Still is weird having to define if it's spaces or tabs. Not sure of any other text editor you have to do this. Might not be a "bug" ,but sure is annoying, LOL.

I also kinda like Alt 4. Not a fan of the thickness at the bottom though. Maybe the shape of Alt 4 with the thickness of Alt 1 ,which would give more room for maybe a few more drops at the back?
