Here are 3 screenshot, one with thin lines and cycles rendering : no problem :
and two with thick lines and cycle with cpu and gpu rendering, both with the same problem : the viewport rendering looks pixelated

Yep, the angle limiter could be a good (and simple) solution... Have fun fixing the wrong result ;)
Yeah... That's why I suggested to modify the boolean modifier in the first place ;)

Yes, it's not a "boolean specific" problem. But if we want to keep the modifiers stack unapplied, we have no solution to fix the edge resulting of the boolean operation...
so if the boolean modifier generate directly a well placed edge, it will solve the problem in this specific case ;)
