Does some names have changed or are they different things:
Toolbar or Topbar, Workbench or Workspace?

To communicate widget states, rather than just using colors, we would like to use a clickable visual icon, like so:

Looks good, I will commit tonight after I finish some of my other work.

I think after the 2.8 release should be a good time for this even if we use the default wiki skin.

Sorry, but I have tried that and because I am never available on IRC during Euro work hours I couldn't get a hold of anyone so opened this instead.

Thanks I will have a look later.

The issue is that Sphinx generates relative links, Im still trying to find a way to workaround this.

If someone wants to easily test these values generated by these equations I created a quick LUT that can be used instead of the one that is in this patch to test if there is a difference in color.
Hi, any update here? @Sergey Sharybin (sergey) the LUT comes from http://cvrl.ioo.ucl.ac.uk/cmfs.htm which has a graph view if you really want a graph. As for curve fitting, @Lukas Stockner (lukasstockner97) have you seen this paper from NVIDIA? http://jcgt.org/published/0002/02/01/paper.pdf

I attempted at writing some versioning code however I am not sure if it works because I can't figure out how to write the for loop.

I like these changes a lot of sense and I like them, especially Mask Editor.
If anyone can give me some advice on how to do the versioning code to automatically convert to the new effect type that would be amazing.

Thanks for the report but it would be helpful if you add a blend-file to the report that demonstrates the issue at hand.
Maybe it does make sure that these settings are controlled and saved in the file. At least this will keep things consistent if a studio is having multiple people us one file. Between 1 & 3, I think I like 3 best.

Ok we can re-open then
Thanks for the report but making tasks like this is not useful unless you or someone else is willing to work on them. In that case, just send a patch when done. In the meantime I am closing this.
This has been re-opened as D3153 which takes a better approach. Closing.
I added you to the Documentation project so you can commit these changes if you want.
We currently don't review changes for translations (takes to much effort).
@Max Voss (max12345) the content was basically duplicated between the manual and the api docs so in rBee2aa319821fdf8be869fc2800711d01b6350f41 and rB73dfd3d38241735c7182862cd43a6fb5df6e054b I merged the two documents into the API docs. Now we will have one place to keep this information.
LGTM and is consistent with other subdivide ops. @Campbell Barton (campbellbarton) any objection? If not I will commit.
Noisy changes like this aren't really worth as they can just cause merge conflicts and don't have much benefit.
Thanks for the patch but I am closing this one to let us keep focusing on more important things.
Add a comment in the file stating to include only last three versions of blender.
@Julian (juliand) can you commit your changes from this patch?
I will leave it up to Ton on what we should do here.

Oops forgot to hit submit but looks good.
This is a known issue and there is no easy way to fix this currently. Hopefully, in 2.8 we can have a smarter depsgraph that can only update things that are needed.
