@Konstantin Bukow (Kobuk) I've just followed the docs to compile my own version of 2.8 with the change you suggested and it works perfectly THANK YOU I'm super excited because it means i can continue development of my Grease Pencil based character rig!

@Sergey Sharybin (sergey) Wondering if this issue could just become a setting somewhere that allows us to switch between a mouse/tablet drawing mode which just changes the pressure variable between 1.0f and 0.0f? That would seem the most straight forward solution

Feel your pain, I’ve been wanting this fixed for aaaaaaaaaaages.
The video at the end of that discussion shows where the issue lies and a possible fix

The above suggestion works, except in my case anything >= 0.250 caused strokes to disappear. Anything under that was fine. Using a Macbook Pro with latest update.

Thanks so much for the time you put into this and the future development enabling Windows Ink compatibility Sergey and Bastien. I've been using Blender more and more for personal and work projects and it's by far and away my preferred toolkit, having worked with Maya exclusively for the last 15 years.

All good, I understand the busy nature of development.
Not sure if my edit on my last post was seen:

The guys at the store managed to reproduce the error but then threw it back on the developers to check that it wasn't something they needed to update on their end if the way the program has to access the drivers has changed.

It's specific to Wintab drivers that are the issue so if you're using a wacom pen or wacom pen drivers then no, that doesn't replicate the issue because Wintab is different to Wacom.
