Bug fix confirmed in version blender-2.80-d30f72dfd8ac-win64.

I've asked a friend to reproduce the problem with the todays version of b28. The problems exists there too. My friend has a different PC and use GeForce GFX 1070.
Tried it today with version blender-2.80-11c9702dd40f-win64
Problem still exists.

@Andrzej Ambroz (jendrzych) Is there a place where I can download the svg versions of the current icons please? I would like to make some more proposals and don't like to retushe the icons screenshots in photoshop... :(
In the "View layer" mode of the outliner there is no way to see the object hierarchy.
Is there an important reason for this I don't know, yet?
I've read the whole discussion and like your current improvements for the outliner.

Have you tried the Extra Objects AddOn too?
Later in the video I show it with a single vertex object that comes with the extra objects AddOn that is an official build AddOn.

At the moment my demo scene with some modifiers is at 5 fps in version 2.8.
In v2.79 its faster and runs at about 8 fps.

OK... now I understand my problem.
I am always using Cycles nodes for all my material settings. To be honest I've never used the Blender Renderer in the history...
So I've checked the values for my material by switching to Blender Render... and voila! There are the settings set.
I've narrowed the diffuse color problem. When exporting the diffuse color from Blender the following happen and is definitely a bug.

OK. But the issue is known already since four years. I hope my thread help to fix that or change it for the upcoming releases.
Softimage XSI supported seperating all channels of bitmaps already 10 years ago.

I switched to TIF file format to continue my work. TIFs color channels can be read by single.
I hope this is the right place to post my problem. If not please open a new task.
