I've attempted patching the exporter so that it always exports bind poses for armatures, but it seems like now the FBX SDK refuses acknowledge that these bind poses exist if there is no deformer (FbxPose::GetBindPoseContaining returns empty arrays). Perhaps the bind poses are not considered "valid" if no deformer is associated with them? Is this a limitation of the file format?

I'm still seeing an occasional crash during redo with the development snapshot (version: 2.90.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2020-06-22 22:06, hash: 51bf04383aa0, type: Release), but the call stack is different. The crash still occurs within header_draw however. Attached is the crash log and system info.

I'm running into the same issue. This is only happening with glTF models. Blender will crash after importing the attached .glb file and switching to the materials tab. The .glb file was created by exporting the attached .blend file from Blender. I'm running Blender version 2.80, 96f762500ef9, 2019-01-07 00:16. Windows 10 with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960.
