Update: Bug also tested to be broken in,

This is one odd feature/ bug. When added particle system to any of those rigid body objects, the animated object stops animating at the unlocked location/ rotation keyframe. Also, the rigid body physic stops working. Tested on Windows 8.1 with Intel graphic.

Since it's now closed, so further update from it will be harder to come by. I'm not a blender dev, but here are some minor stuffs I tried to changed in attempting to upgrade export_3ds.py from 2.79 to 2.80. The error inside extract_triangles(mesh) seems to be the last error from the script, but I do not have enough knowledge of blender API to why it happened to resolve it. Hopefully someone with interest can improve from here onward.
