I apologize for my convoluted answer, let me try to clarify:
Hello @John (shepherd), unfortunately there is no easy way to export it back to a .c3d file. The addon can import specially-crafted .csv files (first row must have the labels as 'marker_x', 'marker_y', ...), so if you only intended to consume it back in Blender you could write a script to output such a format (not very difficult).

First of all, thank you for your improvements... the return values in the ASF/AMC importer and CMU mocap lib were on my todo list for ages now!

Hi Sergey, thank you for your work. I'm curious about in which way you find the custom map patch limited. As you mentioned in the camera ray nodes description, "The above thing might be solved if we bake distortion into a grid and use as a lookup table from the kernel"... that's exactly what this patch is useful for, you just have to provide it with the distortion map. Try baking the mapping from the SVM, and use it with this patch and then check the performance... my guess it will be worth it. If you need any help, please let me know.

I haven't updated my Blender binary in a while, as it does everything I need it to do. But I'll check what has to be done to update it, and if it is easy I'll provide a new patch.

Ok, the problem was I had not setup the submodule to use firstname.lastname@example.org:blender-addons.git. Now the bug fix has been pushed, please check that it works.
@My disabled brother (sybrenstuvel): you might find the CMU Mocap Browser addon interesting as well. It has not been accepted to be included in the release repository yet, but you can find it in contrib (and test builds).
I fixed the problem (), but for some reason I'm not able to push my commit:
$ git push fatal: remote error: access denied or repository not exported: /blender-addons.git
I added my SSH key around 30 minutes ago, is there anything else that I need to do?
