If i want to add a color on my sculpt for a better view i do it in the viewport display. Like this ->

D is still used for annotate (although we could have an exception and override this).
W is used for context menu when select is set to right mouse select.

Clearly a typo here and when i writing this sculpt mode chapter, i had in my mind the three ways of sculpting in Blender but with many changes from other contributors ( i appreciate a lot) the main idea is lost.

It is updating well here and a solution to solve it on side might be: hold ctrl+middle mouse button down+slide the mouse on the side.

Hello @Harley Acheson (harley) thanks for this update.
Here is to example of me using first master with your patch and Pablo's branch, What i have understood is that when i m sculpting i unconsciously like to see where is the cursor and that is the place that maximum of influence will be applied (sorry for confusing in my BA thread). When the cursor is not visible i m getting confused.

Guys all this had started because some people wanted to save the quick favorites, can we have only that implemented? in stead of autosaving the all preferences. This is what most of us was asking in that thread and "UI team" made a "decision". Sorry again for the intrusion.

IMO @Sergey Sharybin (sergey) should be our guy here. The problem gets solved when you switch to edit mode. It seems like sculpt mode Dyntopo is missing some mesh update with some brushes.

Yes can confirm this weird clipping in my win 7 gtx 550ti, own build hash: 0d86259fc8a3 we didn't have in the earlier build.

For me the idea of putting ready UVs for default primitive is not well thought. This is not a bug, to solve it, in the property window go to Object Data tab and in UV Maps panel delete that default UV.

This is not a bug, it is feature "fast navigation" you can turn off. Go to sculpt mode in the sculpt menu remove the check in Fast Navigation.

Thanks now i understand how to set it up. In deed this is not a bug.
@artem ivanov (ixd) It seems like i didn't understand your suggestion well. This bug report is about not rendering a mesh in the collection but rendering the same mesh anyway as particle instance. To put into contest of Blender 2.7 ( group some objects and put them in no-active layer, and add the group as particle instance. In Blender 2.7 the object will be rendered anyway). Away if you have a solution please just update the blend file above and share it, i would love to learn how to it.

For rigging it solved but the "Edit menu at the top" i cannot find it. Here is my screen shots can you point where that button is?

First case: disabled Edit > Lock Object Modes. Eventually multi-object sculpting will be supported too.

I m leaning on letting things the way they are right now. @Sebastian Koenig (sebastian_k) is pointing good points, and deleting an object from heavy project is really different from deleting a paragraph from text editor like @William Reynish (billreynish) wants to argue. The model can be from a project that you have been worked on for many months on a busy scene. Accidentally delete it and everything goes silent, you keep on moving and few months later you realize that you don't have that model anymore.

Did you try it with rotation around selection on? Because this is different but more or less the same feature. Just making sure that there is no conflict.

@Julien Kaspar (JulienKaspar) It is brothering everybody sculpting in Blender 2.8 and it exposes the downside of the new system, it makes me wondering again why are we hiding some other brushes, when we have a lot space where we can have them all exposed? It would easier to just click on the brush and select it, in stead of click and drag. Please @Campbell Barton (campbellbarton) the new tool system need more love in sculpt mode to make it more user friendly.

Is there a place where this was discussed? What are the reasons for the removal? This is one of the useful tool for the community. the thing with other tools out there is that you really don't know what you are installing. Sorry was this mentioned in one of the weekly report?

@William Reynish (billreynish) The D-key is reserved for the Grease Pencil in all modes, That is the reason it was changed to X-key in Blender 2.7 series.

Yes just I checked and it is working now, meaning that is not crashing anymore but still you have to undo twice before the undo takes place. May be should close this one and open another one with the title " After lasso mask, Blender needs two undo before the undo takes place." ?
