What to do: create a new report or reopen this one?
Perhaps it’s worth adding an option with a checkbox for copying animation data specifically for modifiers?
@Sebastián Barschkis (sebbas) , But what to do when in a scene there are 1000 objects with ready-made animation (baked after rigid body physics) - if you do a ctrl + l "Animation Data", then the entire animation will be overwritten and the objects will replace with the same place as main model:

Everything works. The main problem is that your model has 2 subdivision modifiers (with 2 lvl of subdiv) that are located before the armature modifier, so the performance is very low.

I know how to make a simple rotation, but this scene is a simplified option for my rig.
The problem is that either the viewport does not render correctly, or the data is not updated during the rendering, while in version 2.79 everything goes as expected, including rendering (or in version 2.79, too, an error).

Can confirm on 40a55be82cf5

I can confirm.
For the purity of the experiment, I set 8 passes for both rendering and viewport, and also turned off the simplify:

It looks like the bug has been fixed in the latest build. Thanks!

I confirm. But in part.
The volumetric of smoke (F3 - > Quick Smoke) works without texture coordinates.

@Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) , I wanted to thank You personally, but the support of the whole team is also important. Thank you very much for the work!
@Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) , I do not refuse my words, please tell me where to transfer money?

Someone can help with it? I don't understand some strings:
in all BKE_image update/check frame/etc uses cfra as integer.

@Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) , i try to compile blender (da1da3053d75) with your solution, but your variant don't give needed result (black material with video texture and pink - with sequences).
Working variant with this code in node_shader_tex_image.c :

@Daniel Craven (Craven) , Yep.
The working variant for several objects with video textures is to open several working windows with image editors and in each of them open different textures:

I really like this idea, but in the options it is possible to set transparency for the background of the nodes, so in order to avoid conflicts, it may be worthwhile to add a decrease in the saturation of colors.
Perhaps, to indicate a muted node, you can use a special overlay? You can draw it over the entire node, or only in the header:

Working solution for *.blend file in description : in properties (N-panel) of image texture node change Color Space from sRGB to Non-Color:
I confirm this for *.png normal maps. When using export from substance designer (with alpha channel).
Solution to the problem for me - using Color (instead of Non-Color Data) in image texture node, or sometimes - in properties (N-panel) of image texture node change Color Space from sRGB to Non-Color.

It looks like a problem like this (T57457), but in this case the movie and image sequences are not updated in Cycles too. Unlike the background images in the camera settings, which are updated in all render engines (Workbench, Cycles, Eevee) in all view mode.

@Clément Foucault (fclem) , if you give a hint, then I can help with finding a problem. In my opinion, this is due to BKE_image_user_check_frame_calc, since I found a similar problem:

I can confirm, but not completely.

I don't know, if this can help, but i finded deleted code from internal render for update image sequences and movies in (https://developer.blender.org/rB51b796ff1528c52cc8b4079fab1003671652a4d9):

The variant from Daniel Salazar in another branch (https://developer.blender.org/T57457) works only with video textures (textures type 'movie' displayed and rendered normal).
