Initially I wasn't sure if/when this feature would be used, but thinking about it I often like to temporarily add reroute nodes before breaking a connection (like this) to make it easier to re-add the connection after testing something, especially when dealing with large node trees.

Propsbar sounds odd to me, but prop-shelf is great. Also fine with properties sidebar, but propshelf is my new favourite :)

Just committed the Copy Attributes part of this patch (replaced existing function) since 2.78 testbuilds are about to be released and then we'll be locked to just bug fixing. After 2.78 I'll add the Reset stuffs.

Spoke with Brendon and Cambo on IRC, looks like that commit just got missed for 2.77a. If there's a 2.77b, it'll be fixed in there. Otherwise just download the latest version and replace your current one (/2.77/scripts/addons/node_wrangler.py) with that.
hack_force_update is old code, replaced recently by the simpler force_update method. Maybe rBA27da8e1f was lost in the 2.77a release?? *This* is the current version of the add-on straight from git, and it does indeed have the new function.
