Could confirm, fix in D2414

Should note that unnecessary calculation of the y-zoom of the gradient was removed, since the area should just be filled from bottom to top in the y direction, regardless of zoom level.

Previously (pre-2.70) scaling a keyframe with automatic handle type set the handles to aligned type, and now it doesn't. Scaling automatic handles does nothing, while when the transform changed the handle type scaling individual keyframes to change handle length was possible. This seems like a regression, although might be desired in some cases.

Apparently this could be fixed by complying to this freedesktop convention, the responsibilities of clipboard owner: http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/ClipboardManager
This ubuntu bug confirms that some programs do have this fixed, but also other major ones like open office don't: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/11334
Probably not a priority to get it working, since most linux distros come with a clipboard manager by default.

Does not seem to work on layout that doesn't have a dedicated = key, but = is produced with eg shift-0.

Right now it does not work at all on keyboard layouts that don't have a physical "=" key. For example on mine, and on many of the previous commenters' keyboards, it's accessed with shift-0, which does not activate the expression mode.

Also should add arrow key handling in the menus to the task (apparently I can't edit it because I'm not moderator and it's not assigned to me).
Left/right keys usually change the open top level menu, except if the motion opens a submenu.
I think this is probably a bit too deep in the ui handling code for me to try to implement it, would be fine it going to todo for now.

There's two things I'd like to comment about.
Emulate numpad doesn't really make sense as it is now as default. The navigation keys assume the grid order of real numpad, and the 2/4/6/8 keys for navigating simply make no sense. A bad and confusing way to navigae the view. When having to toggle it on the user at least knows that he's missing on something. I'm not arguing that there shouldn't be a better navigation option for laptop users, but forcing emulate numpad on everyone is not the solution.
