An additional idea:
I remember in another render engine (older version of Appleseed I believe) we were able to define colors, like global colors that can be re-used in shaders.
If we could re-use the colors of a color palette for shaders then we could also just change the color palette to change the colors of all shaders in one go. To get an idea, check: https://youtu.be/DkznarCvPEQ?t=33

I think some predefined palette templates in a menu for a user to choose from which ever paint mode they are in would be useful. You could then perhaps have some defaults also settable under preferences and perhaps enabled by default to get the user up and running.
Paint Mode: Default palette.
This way a user may even define their own default palette when starting a new project.

Great to see palettes getting some care.
From the python API perspective, I would like also to use palettes generally, (specifically with materials/shader editor), but any kind of flexibility would be useful.
At the moment, I had trouble getting a custom palette property to behave, it seems template_palette is limited in scope and not much is exposed within the API and locked down to update parts in the UI it only knows about.
I wouldn't know where to start since Palette and specifically how PaletteColor behaves is quite unique CTRL-click to change, click to update the color picker; but currently only the color picker it knows about.
But since Palette.colors is a collection property itself, perhaps a new template?

template_palette_colors(myproperty.active_palette, "colors", myproperty, "picker_color")

Not to mention the required operators (new, remove, etc)

I like how scroll bars currently work, I find it beautiful and functional as I get closer with the cursor, they stand out ...
I also like that they don't take up too much space when we don't need them.

The ability colorize icons at runtime is available under Preferences/Themes: Icon Colors.
There doesn't appear to be categories for the toolbar icons, but this would be the best approach. Some of the Toolbar icons already appear to be colorized from their default white foreground.
It may be a matter of some interface hooks, or there may be another reason why these icons can't be colorized at this stage. In any case it may be the best option to start with how it's approached colorizing other icons I mentioned.
There may be some technical insights a developer can give, since there must be some reasoning behind the ability to colorize the toolbar icons not being available.

Can you confirm that this issue does not present itself when IOMMU is disabled in the BIOS?

JPG (joules) closed T44094: Blender/System Freeze. Cycles on "Viewport Shading/Render" when Compute Device is NOT the display device. as Resolved.

I can confirmed that disabling Vt-d (Intel ® VT for Direct I/O) within the bios resolves this bug for this particular system (Dell T7500).

Heres a screenshot of the freeze screen. This is with the 750Ti as the display GPU for this monitor and the 580 disconnected from any display or xscreen. I took this while testing if the opposite situation also caused a freeze (so it can't be specific to any GPU).

No SLI.
Just to make it a little more concise (and it also doesn't freeze down my entire system).
GTX 580 is connected to a display.
GTX 750ti is disconnected from a display.
The following scenarios is consistent.
