@Aaron Carlisle (Blendify) From what I gathered, most 2d editors already share a common pan and scroll operator which on paper does support by-pixel scrolling. The text editor is a bit of an oddball here, being one of the last editors that still uses fixed line scrolling. There were some remarks in the code about it being left out, but no explanation as to why.

I'm hazarding a guess that this is what's causing a crash when the operator is invoked with a cursor value outside of the action zone.

Just an update: I'm unable to reproduce this anymore. Can probably be closed now!

Before, superusers could use bpy.ops.wm.quit_blender('EXEC_DEFAULT') to bypass the save quit dialog.
After the implementation of the new quit dialog this no longer worked, however turning off "Prompt Quit" remedied this.
