I like the shortcut changes! But can't we use tap to toggle between object "subdivision surface" levels and yeah .. when we do .. it goes through 3 levels of subdivs. Original sub1 sub2 .. and in the background it automatically creates the modifire for us?

Imagine that this editor is is very responsive in a way that when you scale it vertically it's panels change layout to be horizontal and when you scale it further they shrink down into buttons(if properties) or icons(if tools) so when you click on them a popup panel appears, with the corresponding settings (similar to what we currently have in 2.8).
further more. this editor has supeditors and you can add the desired properties and tools with shift+A .
last >> the same way action editor has its slot to choose actions, this one should have a slot to choose presets and edit them.

That's awesome, The term "Fake editor" was misleading to me.
I hope to see it in blender soon.

Why don't you make a separate editor for tools & addons settings, that automatically updates its content based on active mode/object/tool. you can even merge properties into it.
