Yes, that seems to be the problem. It works as intended with factory settings. Forgot to check that. (What would be the best way to compare the default map.py to my custom one? I'd like to track this down one by one, but I have changed quite a lot of stuff)

didn't work in yesterdays build. in todays build it is fine. task can be closed.

Moving Keyframes works now, but scaling still doesn't. Should I open a new report for that?

Can confirm this. I reset to factory defaults. Neither moving nor scaling keyframes with G/S + numerical input works. It does so in the graph editor.

weird thing is, that it used to work flawlessly in earlier builds from this year. It even works with the current build if I load the demo file I linked until I delete some of the modifiers to single it out.

I don't think, that's the issue here. I work fullscreen 1600*1200 resolution. have a look, it's pretty weird.
hmm, now the header completely disappears when I select the bucket and I have to click on the little > after that to make it reappear for other tools

hmmm, can't confirm that. I get x <-> y switched and an upside down z axis. Seems to be the case in your captured clip too. Or maybe I am misunderstanding what you mean
the modifier on the plane is only there to give it some motion & can be deleted. the cube is parented to 3 verts of the plane, try to move it along any axis.
