it was not my intention to spam but I don't really know how to report this problem but I also pointed out that this was not happening in version 2.83 vertices are merged automatically.
OK I create the report for non-mainfold meshes if someone hasn't done this already.
@Sebastian Parborg (zeddb) But this happen also in the 2.93. and the problem is related to boolean issue that make error?

How I can report this problem generated by error and this is also solved for blender 2.93.6 LTS?
I did a test both with and without collections, but on Blender 2.8 it works because the boolean operations do the automatic merge of the vertices which no longer happens with Blender 2.93 and blender 3.0, I do not know the reason but this is the problem that it no longer allows you to run booleans without having meshes getting corrupted, now I will probably be told it should work like that, but this didn't happen before so all the problems are related for this part of the code that has changed.

Hi I also tried disabling the sound from the preferences and I also tried with another Linux distribution on a USB stick with PuppyLinux Fossa 20.04 LTS, and with both I have the same problem of anomalous crash below the new reports obtained from these crashes of the two different Ubuntu linux operating systems with the same hardware.

I have now done a test and it also reports me that the operation cannot be performed, so I have removed the double vertices (187) and the command is executed successfully, so I consider the problem solved and Blender no longer crashes.
Anyway with Blender 2.8 it's works well without warning.

I've tested now with blender-3.0.0-alpha+master.e79e86018e38 and it's crash this is the file made with Blender 3.0 the other for 2.83lts has a different boolean object when the one for the 3.0 has an object made by boolean union.
But what do you say this is a crash problem which originated from a file where I applied the modifiers and then tried to use the remesh command, it's not another problem it's a problem with Blender 3.0
In the first I applied the modifiers with Blender 3.0 and in the second I imported the scene in Blender 2.83, and I applied the modifiers and I ran the command remesh, this means that in Blender 3.0 and in Blender 2.93 when you apply the modifiers both generate a corrupted mesh is .
You can try because I attached the original file from which I imported the scene from 3.0 to test with Blender 2.83LST, I don't know what the problem is but it is not that one has to remodel or redo the objects it is evident that there is a problem.
On Blender 2.83LST it works fine, the problem is in 293.lts and in Blender version 3.0

But how? this is not a bug, if I have two distinct groups of vertices and I assign each a different thickness for the group of vertices the modifier should be selective and take into consideration only the vertices of the group and nothing else, but be serious about saying that this isn't that a bug?

I also add the report of the problem that I made previously to the developers of the add-on to export in glTF format
By exporting this model in PLY format I can correct the problem by easily deleting the corrupted vertices, I have also attached the PLY file exported with uv mapping if it can be useful, I have only deleted the vertices outside the model, and so I could correct the problem easily.
Here is a video always with the same plans but with a different error, if the modifiers are reversed in the order it changes, even if I first create a group and then another, every time the result changes, then I send a new video with some other test.

I don't think this is however, something that should happen, being an empty object, it is implied that it is not a mesh object, and for this reason it should not be taken into account by the modifier, this is also useful for organizing arrays and offset auxiliary objects.
I believe that this however should not be closed or archived but better evaluated.

Sorry for the report I've tested many times, with different options in the morning I've used normalized options and is what I've usually do for this task, and I'm pretty sure it didn't worked, checked now, after I have saved and it's working, better than previous. the PDF works very well but the SVG has a scale out strange, but is editable.

Yes that is a optimal idea the option with a cube but a tiny icon is harder to recognize and make for me.. anyway I have here the file for SVG and the source bender file.

Hi I have an other file with the same problem, this seem to me a problem related to adaptive modifiers but I really don't know why, this has only a line-art modifier on a simple mesh lines for the measures and also this don't works please before release the final version, resolve this bug, because this at the end save a corrupted file and that was impossible to reopen because goes in continuous bug crash, and the file is impossible to recovers with Blender 2.93. I successful opened on time but the thing is not replicable, and I don't understand why.
