in 63f62cd the lock markers doesn't appear to affect selecting them when using the 'a' key, it's as if that key will only select keyframes (if in graph editor) or strips (nla) when the mouse pointer is at the bottom of their windows. previously and in the rc2 build it would only select keyframes or strips if the pointer was above where the markers are.
thanks guys, and i just tested the 2.75 rc2 and it's working fine in that version, so just these dev builds need to be fixed apparently.

c86a6f3 win32 is crashing on the same screens.
@Bastien Montagne (mont29) do you mean one of the windows builds from builder.blender.org? i can try the win32 build from today, the 64 bit version is the same one i've been having trouble with.
i pasted the .dll into the folder with the .exe's and the latest build is still crashing on the same custom layouts it previously was.

understood, and as this is now happening on a couple more of my other custom screen layouts, i'll strip out the project file data, and upload some of the layouts i'm using.

i've managed to fix my .blend file by loading it into the 2.74 stable build, and deleting one of the custom screen layouts i use for the node editor.

regarding sticky keys causing the above, ctrl and z keys appear to currently not be working at all in 3d views, with the 46b42db build.

@Julian Eisel (Severin) i can confirm my end, it is double tapping the up and down arrows that is causing the jump to next keyframe. holding down the arrows seems to work fine on the scrollbars.

in the a1c2b1a build, i just noticed something odd when setting click timeout to 0.
update, av sync is producing very erratic stuttering in the above build. i don't normally use it, but it doesn't behave the same as no sync or frame dropping.
good news, a1c2b1a is working as far as i can tell.

guys, just to clarify, i don't personally use any ease of access features in win7.
@Aaron Carlisle (Blendify) i've just tested with factory settings and no project file.
weird, i got it working temporally by tapping either the ctrl or shift keys. the animation would then play and loop. but if i stopped the animation and started it again. it didn't play, until i pressed one of those keys.
i just went through all the options on the systems tab and couldn't get the animation to play. previous builds work fine, so it's something about the latest one.
the jump to first and last frame buttons are still working, and dragging the timeline works, so it appears it's only the play button is broken.
@Julian Eisel (Severin) this simple cube animation should move across the screen when the play button is pressed. in the latest build it doesn't move and the timeline is not updated, even though the red stop anim player button is displayed at the top of the 3d window.

@Julian Eisel (Severin) thanks and i tracked it down to system tab > gpu mipmap generation which even when using factory settings still produces the error if that option is toggled off.

@Julian Eisel (Severin) i've just tested that .blend file with and without my custom startup.blend and userpref.blend and the error appears with the former, see the next two screencaps.
@Julian Eisel (Severin) this simple .blend file produced the same results as the .blend i screen capped previously.

hi mont, i've just tested the 90449f9 win64 build from today and the good news is the ui lists are now saving their heights,
mont, i do understand this is no longer considered a bug,
so the inconsistency was a bug as i suspected. thanks to kevin for confirming that.

sorry guys, i just found the right click header option to collapse menus. so please ignore my previous post.
@Jonathan Williamson (carter2422) i'm using the win64 official 62a3fe2 build and the new button/icon for collapsing the 3d view's menus isn't always visible in my custom windows layouts, when the layers buttons etc are not visible, ie to the right of the window size, so i'm having to scroll the header to the left, each time i want to access those buttons, either that or go full screen.

@Jonathan Williamson (carter2422) another thing you might want to do is add in a mouse hover highlight to the vertical tabs. in the win64 official 62a3fe2 build the tabs are not consistent with other blender ui elements like buttons, menus etc, in that they don't become brighter when the mouse is hovering over them. this could confuse some uses who expect the highlighting to indicate a ui element can be clicked on.

@Sergey Sharybin (sergey) i just noticed the preference's window shifts vertical position each time i open it in fd0b104 so sometimes it is aligned with the top edge of blender's main window, and my win7 desktop, other times it's slightly lower by various amounts.

@Sergey Sharybin (sergey) yes, as of 5611fb6 win64, blender opens full screen in windows 7 when launched from the *.exe, i don't personally use cmd lines like the OP so can't give any feedback if that is fixed there as well.
