I notice that the problem only happens when using the combination Alt + A (as in 2.7x), any other combination seems to be working fine but not that one. Blender 2.8 should allow the user to use Alt + A or else what's the point in allow custom shortcuts if they have restrictions.

Sorry for the delay, I've been testing more about this issue and I still have problems, it might be due to the fact that a program that is running in the background is creating some conflict whle writing data in the hard drive, these days I'm switching off this software and trying again, I should have more information in about 10 days or so.

It's seems to be cropped by the resolution of the render, so that's a workaround, you can close this if you want. Sorry about this.

I'm also wasting my time in creating these reports, sometimes they are bugs and sometimes not. If you think users are creating reports because they are bored you are wrong, if I create a report is because I don't have all the information of knowledge of I'm not up to date with all the changes that happens in Blender everyday. I think I mention you previously this and I will do it again for the last time, I'm very tired to be treated like this (especially from you) every time I report a bug so I think I'm not going to waste more of your time or my time in these reports, not going to report anything else about blender bugs.

OK, excuse me if I don't read all the releases notes, that's why in my description I said that I was not sure. I'm not a developer and sometimes is hard to keep track to all the changes in Blender. I don't know why but every time I report a problem I feel like I'm going to get hit by a bus with the feedback from the developers. Not all blender users are blender developers.

Hi aligorith, I get your point but if that's the case then it should be much resource efficient. Because as it's working right now and base on your reply looks like even if it's mainly a single-threaded operation is also still trying to get as much profit as possible on the CPU cores but the result is exactly the same. My point is... if it's going to be the same result it should also be using the same resources as before. I don't know why all my cores are at 100% now but I don't get any significant variation in the time. It would be better to stress less the CPU if at the end is going to be exactly the same.

Would be nice if we could have custom tabs in the same way that Maya has the shelf menu where you can drag your favorite tools into your own tab. I think there's a GSOC this year that they had something like that and it was VERY interesting. Maybe is time to bring that code into 2.70.

I just tried the latest build just in case and the problem persists in here. I'm attaching a file in here for you to test, for me it doesn't work. I select the plane with the grease pencil already and I choice greassescatter from the search menu and then I set up the group for instance and all I get is the cube with a different scale and a different position, but I never get more that the same original cube.
