The 3.0 documentation shows them as intended. That is not the case for 2.93 on the other hand.

Oh yes, please!
I have a canned response myself. The day I can delete the video telling animators to save and revert the file will be a happy one indeed!

Please, let me die in shame.
And also, thank you for finding the cause of my suffering. 🙏

Very reasonable proposal. Would love to not have to reload the files every time. It has been a point of confusion for many of my rig users who come to complain about missing rig controls.

This is, of course, utter nitpicking, but I like the sorting into columns and I would suggest keeping the structure consistent throughout the whole length of it and moving the space dropdowns up one slot so all separated elements come first, and are then followed by the global ones.

"Problem already fixed" is the best news I could hope for. :D
Just to make sure, I downloaded said build from blender.org. Still crashes on negative number paste.
I have this build. Philip seems to have made good call, here is the behaviour NOT occurring in the positive range and blender crashing in the negative.
This is the newest build, tho.
Added the blend file. Will reset blender to make sure.

Can replicate in 2.90 (sub3).
After using dual-axis locks, transformation gets screwy.

Can confirm, using 2.83.4
Not sure if this is a "known issue", either. I could not find it in the tracker at any rate.
Can reproduce with sample file and from scratch.

Can confirm, this persists on 2.82.6 and 2.83 alpha.
I have attached a sample file and a demo video.

There has been an alternate solution suggested here:

It would be useful to have the Batch Renamer be able to rename Packed Texture Files as well, since they oftentimes come in with random-number suffixes that make it hard to read the names in the node trees.

The Batch Rename Operator, while great, lacks the ability to add a numbering sequence.

If it has no performance drawbacks, this bug could be a great feature, pretty much rendering the Mask Modifier unnecessary.

Made an add-on that does the toggling, aptly named: Toggle Normal Maps

I appended the object into a fresh file. Everything works as it should. I have had 2.8 behave weirdly with the old files before. One time, the file simply had no Render Tab until I appended the scene into a new file.

As a temporary workaround, we use a script to mute the normal nodes, which gives regular viewport performance and another to un-mute the nodes later for rendering:

Just has a default cube, but the normals are long.
Yes.

This also happens when exporting the file. I can be undone, though.
Here is what I got from the Debug Panel
