good point: currently it does use the median point if you set it to individual origins, but yes, this really would make sense

Actually I like how it works already, keeping rotation to incremental is actually the two usage scenarios I would need the most, without changing any settings (= interupting the workflow) . I also think that making everything grid conformal should be a separrate tool (quantize python script). Never encountered any scenario where I actually need to snap to grid during an rotation operation (wich can't be fixed by an additional transform) or realistically using it in the 3d view (In fact this would open a can of worms wich would ultimately lead to the feature request of modos construction planes).

Great Addition !!!
What I do miss though is to have the blender camera and the viewport f-stop correlated, so you actually get a more or less realistical preview of what you are about the render.
But then again, great work !
