So ... any hint how to orient instances based on velocity direction (or previous/next vertex position)?
Like was asked here ... I will change my Answer according to this conclusion ... or does this have any other than it is not a bug? Thank you.

But at some point of testing happened this (with middle one disconnected) ...

@Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) Hmm ... you are right ... in 2.79 I used SmartUV and unwrap with Follow Active behave the same as in 2.93, but ...
... testing 2.79 more gave me even more weird results - some faces goes together and some of them don't ... I started to think if they share edge on object matters, but they don't.

Yes, it is default. And I dint change Theme Setup. Will try Reset (tomorrow) if that differs from Defaults > Load Factory Setting, but it happened also on 2.91 that was freshly downloaded without copying previous setting.

@Clément Foucault (fclem) thanks for care, but since this machine is from 2009 (we can probably close it).
Official state is support for 10 years old machine (even last possible OS is from 2016), so it is a shame (for my home activity) but I can understand that.

One of my goal was to meshing volumes (that could be done with particles generated from density with Metaballs assistance in 2.79 https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/181773/meshing-a-smoke-simulation/182438#182438 ), but since this way is completely buggy (due the lag of particle refresh and reassigning the Voxel Data issue) it makes voxel animation impossible in 2.79 and inaccessible in 2.83 for now, right?

Any plans to access voxel data for particle system? Like to control density of VDB animation. Thank you for more info.

One thing that is lost is Volume texture for particle system. Or does exist some another way (now with Volume Object type) to generate particle cloud from voxel texture now?

I agree with consistency, but ... there is zero visual difference between selected vs active here.
How could you discover that?
Only click on curve or channel bring it active (visually it looks the same).
It didnt become active even a pasted keyframes.

This bug seems to be valid until minimum requirement is os 10.12 (as you provided).
I don't want to catch you by word, but to mark this bug as invalid consider adjust minimum to 10.13 as well.

OK, upgrade to Mojave solved the issue to run Blender 2.83, but ...
... now I see what was the main reason I didn't want to upgrade OS - CUDA is not supported. Blender don't see my card anymore, so only CPU rendering from now ...
@Ankit jain (Ankit) Thank you for answer. I used 2.82 (or some of first 2.83) and any lower version without any issue under Darwin 16.7 up to now.

OK official 2.82 works fine.
So since I posted at the same day crash on Eevee (for this 2.83 build) it seems to be related to my graphics card.
So probably ignore it for now.

2.83 alpha from February 20, I'm not on my comp for a few days so I can't provide release code, but I don't expect changes for today version that is blender-2.83-94e180bd806a-macOS that can make difference since fix commit is from January 21

Yes it happens with any file, even with empty scene.

Hm ... tested with today build - when I start to pan around it is there, but only from top view (or any other direct axis), doesnt matter if perspective or orthographic any other angle is solid when I dont move with a scene.

You have disabled "Show Overlays". Enabling it - select / deselect go to edit mode ... works for me.

Since "Origins" (viewport overlay) enabled - objects starts to work (selection, visibility) as expected.
Disabling this option bring back issue in your document.
Since another Mball is added (doesn't matter if as a new object or in edit mode of first Mball object)
objects still dissapears from vieport but if I click on some object visible (or in place of invisible object) in viewport (like camera, lights Mball) all objects become visible again and also mesh objects in a scene can be selected again as well.

Yes, Factory Defaults. This is not file specific, any new blend created works that way. I can try on two other macs I have acces, no PC on board at the moment test with Win.
