The idea (of adding support for WEBP files) interests people.

QuadWrap looks interesting too:

These two videos show how easily it's possible to extrude edges to create faces. Notice how convenient the snapping makes it easy to stick the face to the other quads:

(Another idea:) Allow to make the Quick Favourites Menu different on each workspace.
Are there usage statistics about the Quick Favourites menu? How many entries do Blender users usually add into it?

On one hand, it would have made sense to add a workspace dedicated to Retopology, because since version 2.80, Blender has been having many workspace tabs (at the top), one for each step of the 3D creation (Modeling, Sculpting, UV editing, Texture Painting, Shading..) and Retopology is part of it. That being said, consistently switching between a "Retopology" tab to the "Modeling" tab would be time consuming and counter-productive (I am glad that it has been decided to integrate the retopology tools into the Edit mode).

I posted a message on the devtalk thread with my opinions about several mock-ups that were posted here and there.

There have been several suggestions to add more informations into tooltips (in the current tooltips or displayed in "advanced" tooltips, which would be accessible with a modifier key):

My bad. I got lost in hotkeys. Sorry.
It happens too if you try to add a Pipe Joint:

I agree with @Keavon Chambers (keavon), this is a counter-intuitive UX design.

WEBP is indeed more used nowadays than it was before. The most commonly used web browsers and graphics softwares already support this file type. It would be convenient if Blender could too.
I also hope that this patch could soon be reviewed. This could help make this great image file type more known/used.

I have also noticed this slow-down while using the selection box while the event is set to "Click". After a while it gets annoying. This is undoubtedly a regression.

Well, that would add two radio buttons. As radios cannot be turned off, we would also need an "All add-ons" button. I think this would clutter the UI too much.
Good point about the three radio buttons (they would indeed clutter the UI).

While this is a nice improvement of add-on filtering, it makes it slightly more difficult to search for a "disabled add-on" within the list of add-ons (since now, the disabled add-ons are listed with the activated ones).
Could it be possible to have two radio buttons for "Enabled Add-ons Only" and "Disabled Add-ons Only".

By default (gizmos being hiden), everything works fine. I have tried to select faces on a cube very quickly, it worked fine. I could select them very quickly.
But after enabling Transform Gizmos (from the dropdown menu) and starting to select faces, I noticed a slight lag. And sometimes, I couldn't even see the "selection box".
You could consider moving the four viewport buttons a few pixels higher, in the header :
imo, It would be convenient to be able to Select AND use the Transform tools at the same time with the toolbar buttons.

Is it planned to allow to log in to the (upcoming) new wiki with a developer.blender.org account?
I hope it will be considered because it's not currently possible to log into wiki.blender.org with a developer.blender.org account...

Btw, now that there is a drop-down button to manage workspaces and another one for screen layouts, I think that the later is no longer needed.
After all, workspaces already feature an embeded screen layout. The user can simply create a clone of the current workspace if he/she wants an alternative layout.
I have also noticed color inconsistency between some search fields:
