Ok, sorry for the trouble, it worked! I didn't know that it had to be activated in the overlays.

In your first 2.9 start you have to clic on: Import 2.83 settings (left bottom corner). Start again a new file, Load Factory Settings in File>Defaults, and see it that option does show again in the splash screen.

The same happens to me, in wireframe mode I can only select the "extras" such as empties, camera lines, lights... but I cannot select objects. I don't know why.

I can't believe it, but now at least I can use a installed font on Windows... wtf
So what do we do to use a font in Blender? How do I have to do? Copy the font to a folder outside the windows fonts? not use the installed fonts? Are u kiddin' me? This is 2020...
Actually, I've tried other search of other font, in this case: "Montserrat" and it hasn't found it, not even putting the name that shows in the windows properties.
Ok, the name of that font was tt0140m_.ttf, there's no way to implement a search by name of the file? I know is the futura, and the font name is futura book (or whatever) but I coudn't find it because of that, I can't go to every font and search which name is in the properties in the windows/font panel, It's kinda insane. What is the reason of using the metadata name? Can be implemented other kinds of names? at least in the search section. I can't believe why it's so hard for blender to implement the fonts search properly, (as any other software out there) maybe in blender 2040...

It also happens to me, I have an AMD and a NVIDIA GTX 1060 6Gb. I don't see hair in viewport, set to strip. With the strands I see it black, in eevee. With the principled hair BSDF

When I use the 3D Print panel to export a simple cube with a texture, I get error "traceback blablabla" when I try to export to VRML2 (.wrl), it seems to work ok with X3D.

It's still happening in 2.81a.

So, I've checked that I have the latest drivers available for my integrated graphics card. The PC is a HP (maybe it controls something of the drivers?).
I'm going to try that

Do you have "experimental" feature set enabled?
It happens with Cycles mode "Experimental".

Yes, it worked perfectly, I downloaded the latest drivers from NVIDIA and now I can enter Look Dev mode and Rendered Mode without problems. Thanks!

It crashes to me when I'm rigging and I try to go to Weight Mode and I accidentally click con Texture Paint. Texture Paint seems to be the issue for me.
