Description

This project is a placeholder for all the patches and tricky bugs which can not be applied or fixed due to the release cycle schedule. Those patches/bug fixes will be committed after release.

As a technical director, my job is to deal with mess that users brings to files just daily.
It is ok for me to wotk with 6000-8000 layers in autocad, because I wrote special toolset to handle that much layers, so I know how it feels.

Manually assigned 20 slot will dissolve in 1000 collection's file just immediately, so we don't know where are they and what belongs to.
Then multuplying it with dynamic numeration, so we have constantly changing their numer adress in the same file.
Then having 30 such different files, and... that's it.
We've come to incredible mess.

Not ignored, it seems to have been discussed at length on T61492. But I would rather leave the discussion on alternatives elsewhere not to detract from the main functionality presented in the patch.

I guess I more fundamentally don’t really understand why this outline view must work so differently from the actual Outliner? In some scenes you want to expand some Collections and not others. For the main Outliner, expanding all items together would not be acceptable, so really I don’t think it should be here.

I was planning on adding to this patch to make it a complete 'multi object editing with proportional editing' patch. After second thoughts this patch should probably left as a potential upgrade to set_prop_dist().

AFAIK newer Intel graphics after core 6th gen CPUs are capable of OpenGL 4.x. Yes on my machine who has a 4th gen core i7 mobile processor, blender will nor run unless it uses nvidia video card.

This change makes sense, but we might as well fix the inconsistencies with all the blending modes at once. So, as @Harley Acheson (harley) suggests, same goes to Color Burn etc.
