The game engine was removed in 2.8 and we are no longer fixing bugs in it.

Also, for a reason that I don't understand... this disabling cache workaround is not working in this new Ubuntu version (previous: 14.04, actual: 16.04).

The Property sensor expects a raw value, not a property for comparison. In your case you can change your sensor by an "Always" sensor, and replace the "And" controller by an "Expression" controller: prop > max

As this is not a regression, this is not priority to fix at the moment.
For BGE fixes i would recommend submitting to UPBGE https://github.com/UPBGE/blender.

It happens in BGE internal only.
Saving the file after modification does not help; only closing Blender seems to solve the problem.

If it is bge internal, have you save the blend file after file name modifications?

@Benoit Bolsee (ben2610) : I reported this issue in v4l2loopback github page (in June). Now, there is a new version of this module: 0.10.0.
