Blender Version

Broken ("blur" node of realtime compositor not working): blender-3.4.0-alpha+master.659b63751d63-windows.amd64-release
Short description of error
"Blur" node doesn't work in realtime compositor in 3.4.0 ("curves" node worked though) in any 3.4.0 builds. A few 3.3.0 builds crash on start (also "blender-3.3.0-alpha+principled" and "blender-3.3.0-alpha+universal-scene-description").
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Download blender-3.3.0-alpha+temp-viewport-compositor-merge.3de2575ffb23-windows.amd64-release. (https://builder.blender.org/download/experimental/archive/blender-3.3.0-alpha+temp-viewport-compositor-merge.3de2575ffb23-windows.amd64-release.zip). Start blender-launcher and see it crash immediately.

Hi, thanks for the report.
Reports on feature branch are not accepted on tracker. Also Build is quite old (28 June) and many updates has happened after that.
Blur node is not yet implemented in master(3.4) branch. Patch is under review at the moment: D15663: Realtime Compositor: Implement blur node
For more information regrading which nodes are available for real-time composting, refer: #99210 (Realtime Compositor)
Everything is working as expected so closing this ticket. Feel free to comment if there is misunderstanding.
No worries, thanks for confirming. It did work though before, right? It's unfortunate that "blur" is the first thing used in many tutorials on youtube:
I hope that it will be working soon. It's an amazing feature.

Hi, as said in the last comment it's not implemented in master branch(3.4)
But it's available in
3.3 compositor branch
. In this branch you're getting crash and it seems related to add-ons. See if you can use node after factory reset: {nav File > Default > Load Factory Settings}adding @OmarEmaraDev in case I'm missing something
Thanks again, I've started blender with the "blender_factory_startup.cmd" and removed "3.3" folder from the user preferences folder, so I think it should have removed all the addons. Still same behaviour though, 3.3.0 crashes on start.
As mentioned though it doesn't affect 3.4.0, so probably it's been solved already - I just couldn't find it. Attached here is blender_debug_output.txt for reference:
