Short description of error
undo history no longer accessible via shortcut

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Assign a shortcut to the undo history, then try and use it (after doing some stuff to undo).

Hi, thanks for the report. Are you using Blender 27x keymap or a custom keymap?
I'm not able to confirm this in your mentioned hash build and current master.
Could you share userprefs.blend file if its a custom keymap? (default path is: C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.5\config\)
I guess there is shortcut conflict.

Wow, that was fast! I don't have any conflicting key bindings:

I also note I can't right click the undo history menu and select to add a shortcut.

I've just restarted blender in factory mode, I still couldn't right click the undo menu to add a shortcut there, but after manually creating the key command in the preferences, I am now able to get it working. Probably a bug that it's no longer possible to add shortcuts to menus though right?

I'm able to confirm with your preferences. You had item property of undo_history operator set to 20 which activates undo for 20th steps only.
Removing that property solves the issue

I also note I can't right click the undo history menu and select to add a shortcut

We already have a report for it: #97431 (Assign Shortcut Missing when Right Clicking Undo History.)

oh ok, thanks. I thought the 20 steps meant how many steps to show in the menu. Thanks for your help.
