Cycles HIP with AMD gpu still crashes. No valid fix found. #103755

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
4x8Gb HyperX Fury Beast
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT 8gb

Blender 3.0.1 / 3.4.2
Broken: All versions. Recently started a massive project with a lot of different image textures, while using an RTX 2060, and 16gb of ram. Upgraded from Nvidia to AMD (dont ask why), to improve my GPU, which in all kinds of other software's, games, etc. improved a ton. Only Blender still crashes with the exact report almost every other person on the forums comes with image.png this. The weird part about it is that material preview works perfectly fine. So it cant be the texture at fault right?

After tinkering around with the preferences, it now in both 3.4.2 and 3.0.1 (The versions i've used so far), straight up crashes. I cant find any crash reports anywhere. Searched for multiple days for any answers and all either lead up to the forum post dying down and being stopped. Or no fix given at all. Can anybody give clarity over this because i'm getting very frustrated of the fact.

Launch the file with an Radeon 6000 series gpu
Go into rendered preview, or render it entirely
Either it gives no output, or it'll crash outright.
Dreamland(MegaProj).blend

(P.s. yes I know the file is incredibly big, my. I've tried running it from one of my other drives, and crashes the exact same way.)

Hi, thanks for the report. I've not checked your file yet, do you've 4k textures, higher render resolutions, samples?
How much is the VRAM usage at the time of crash?
Can you share log files?:

Please open Blender's installation directory and double click on the blender_debug_gpu.cmd. This will start Blender in debug mode and create log files. Try to reproduce the
error again. Once it crashes or you close Blender manually the Windows Explorer should open and show you up to two files, a debug log and the system information. Add them
to your bug report by clicking on the upload button as shown in the screenshot below or via drag and drop. Please also upload the crash log located in C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp\[project name].crash.txt (or simply type %TEMP% into the path bar of the Windows Explorer).2019_12_04_upload_icon_developer_blender_org.png

Hey, I'm using a lot of image textures from the Poliigon addon, I have no idea if they're 4k, but since the plain im rendering is so big, I've repeated it a lot, and also put some mosaic nodes over it. I dont know if that might be the problem. However, I've just noticed that with .blend files that are NOT packaged, the rendering goes well.
This was only for a water texture, and when I tried rendering it in Blender 3.4.1, It crashed. As well, I render at just casual 1920x1080, and the big file does indeed crash.

The weird part is, this file is almost the same size, uses the same typa particle systems, as well as having the same Poliigon textures. And this one renders absolutely fine, hell it renders for my feeling extremely fast since the GPU is brand new. Anyways, I'm gonna try tinkering around with the sizes themselves since it luckily still opens. For all parts, thank you for the Dreamland(MegaProj).crash.txt

Thanks. Can you share other 2 files too: blender_system_info.txt and blender_debug_output.txt
Does crash happen in viewport rendering only?

How much is the VRAM usage at the time of crash?

Did you check this? Probably you've ran out of memory

It could probably be GPU lacking, but that would be strange since the 2060 could easily render it and right after it went to "out of system memory", then I upgraded to an 8gb GPU, so it should probably work right?

Update: Managed to get it working, the project in question had the issue of way to many PBR textures, to many vertexes (I had 2 particle systems of over a million), and much more :)
In any case, thanks a lot for the helps!!!
