Hairs have same root in Particle Mode. #30302

Open attached.blend and go to particle mode.

or

Create hair particle system for default cube.
Enter particle mode. only one path of 1000 hairs is displayed.
Click on Free Edit button. 1000 hairs are displayed.
Quit to object mode. Display is correct. ( right side of screencapture)
Go to Particle mode. All hairs are at same place. (left side of screencapture)

It is impossible to work in Particle mode in several times.
