DopeSheet - Grease Pencil mode collapses visible channels when switch channel #31930

This is really annoying. Unlike using the dopesheet for animating poses, the channel group display collapses the open/ visible channels whenever you select a different channel using the properties panel when using the grease pencil mode of the dopesheet. Since multiple channels are often necessary when animating, you must switch between channels as you build the scene. BUT each time you start to draw in a different channel, the dope sheet display of the group of grease pencil channels collapses, so you must constantly re-open it to see which channels you have completed for that keyframe.

For example: In the enclosed blend, the grease pencil group/ unique data block named Director is visible but no keys are visible. Click to open it in the dope sheet/ grease pencil mode and select a channel, eg Action and you can see all the keys in all the channels. Now IN THE PROPERTIES PANEL select a different channel, eg Camera. Look down and you see none of your keys as the whole group of channels has been closed. You must use the properties panel to select the channel you are editing because selecting it in the dope sheet will NOT change the channel you will draw with next., i.e. if you select Camera in the dope sheet, after selecting Action in the properties panel, you will still draw in the Action channel, not in the Camera channel.

The last point, not switching working channel when selected in the dope sheet, is not a big deal, Please just get properties panel selection to leave the working channels open so we can see what we are doing.%%%
