%%%Thanks for the fast fix. :)

However: Before it crashed instantly when starting to render. It doesn't do that anymore. But sadly, now it crashes towards the end.
Maybe a relevant info: For the lack of a more suitable up to date build, I tried a 32bit build on my windows 7 64bit system.%%%

%%%You mean it's rendering fine and just before finish it's crashing?%%%

%%%Yeh exactly. If the setting says "300 samples", its gonne crash at 299.%%%

%%%I've kind of faked multigpu here by forcing cycles to not use advanced shading to use gtx560 together with gts250. It worked just fine. Also plasmasolution from irc tested on dual gtx560ti and that also worked just fine. But this is on linux.

So guess could be it's something to do with an operation system or some particular file. Does it crash for you on all files (like default cube)? If only particular file crashes, it'll help having such file.%%%

%%%Try again with a x64 build, the cuda Kernels on x32 are different ones, maybe that explains the crash. %%%

%%%I tried a x64 build and it still crashes. Now I loaded the factory settings and realised that it seems to be related to save buffers. It only crashes if that one is checked, too.

However, I uploaded the file for you: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/675429/progressiverefine.blend
Sorry for not having done that before. Since it acted like that from my default scene, it seemed a bit futile to me. Hope this helps. :)%%%
