%%%Everytime I try to open a new window (User Preferences, Duplicate Area into new Window command etc.) Blender crashes on the last SVN build.
I've tested several builds, 52795 was the last. The problem doesn't occure on the official 2.64 build.

System:
Graphic: Intel HD 2000 for Displaying and Interface, Geforce 560ti for Rendering
OS: Windows 7 x64
Processor: Intel 2600k

%%%Maybe this is related to the new Multisample option in the user preferences, did you enabled that?%%%

%%%The problem is very strange, I played with all the OpenGL stettings in the user preferences. The crashes appear by random as far as I can see. For example sometimes it crashes with everything enabled (Multisampling, AA, VBO) , sometimes it doesn't. I'll try to narrow the problem down and post again. Thank you for your help, Brecht!

%%%Okay, me again. Got to solve the problem. Blender does only crash when Multisampling is enabled on startup. If its disabled at startup and I enable it in the User Preferences, Blender runs fine without crashes until I close the program and open it again. So you were right, the problem has something to do with the Multisample option. %%%

%%%Ok, the Multisample option only takes effect after restarting Blender, so that makes sense.

We've had issues with Intel and multiple OpenGL windows before, previously it wouldn't work at all. Maybe there is a workaround we can do here, for now I suggest to keep this option disabled, Intel's OpenGL support is not known for being the most reliable.%%%

%%%I've already looked into this issue and there's no currently workaround which will always work. We'll need to have more statistics about cards and drivers, but this will take time.

For now i've disabled multisamples on windows+intel cards, it's the most safe solution for upcoming release.

Thanks for the report, but currently we can not make more about it.%%%
