topology mirror breaks shape key mirror for non-linked meshes even when disabled #35551

Windows 7

- Blender version with error, and version that worked ---

2.66 and 2.67 have the problem, not sure about previous versions

- Short description of error ---

if you are creating shape keys and mirror them using the shape key menu it does not work well in a very specific situation, the situation being when the mesh is not connected to the other side and not connected to a "main mesh" AND topology mirror is ON but x mirror is OFF

- Steps for others to reproduce the error (preferably based on attached .blend file) ---
  1. create a suzane and go into edit mode
  2. turn on x mirror
  3. turn on topology mirror
  4. turn off x mirror (topology mirror gets greyed out)
  5. leave edit mode and create basis shape key
  6. create one shape key and go into edit mode
  7. scale one of suzane's eyes (this is important because the problem only happens on the eyes because they are not connected to the rest)
  8. leave edit mode and try mirror the shape key using the menu

the attachment is ready to simply do step 8

mirroring should flip the scale to one of the eyes to the other but instead they simple go nuts giving weird results, if you turn topology mirror completly off and not just greyed out is works fine

%%%Fix in svn now. Solution is to have an entry in the shape key and vertex group menu to mirror without and with topology mirror, as it wasn't very clear that the setting was affecting this.%%%
