Bastien, is it something expected to work?
Please check with latest build from our buildbot.
Also, Which exporter did you use 7.4 binary or 6.1 ascii? I'd need exported fbx as well, and org FBX file too.
Chuck_orginal.fbx
chuck_exported.fbx
binary
Edit: Tried latest build same result.
OK, so it seems our importer does not handle nicely several meshes skinned to the same armature, will fix that first of all.
Aside from that, checked with Unity, and it imports perfectly your 'chuck_exported.fbx' file… Tbh, would not consider 3Dxchange as reference for FBX…

New FBX importer (one tagged as 'experimental') actually handled the case correctly… Just merged it into stable one, so for now considering the issue fixed. Thanks for the report.

Now the bones are correctly assigned to the meshes. But the exporter added some lines.
I made an picture to point it out.
Iam working with IClone so i have to use 3dxchange if i want to use blender. Which still crashes with the exported modell....
Nevertheless i couldnt open the exported fbx with autdesk fbx viewer.
So i dont know should i open a new ticket ?

I can only say that both Unity and UE4 import it (unity, correctly, - cannot say for UE4, to big a model to check with software dx11). FBX viewer 2013.3 also seems to pen it, at least it does not crash.
The 'lines' when reimporting in Blender are another issue - looks like parenting to bone is lost here, so those empties are only parented to the armature object, will investigate that.
