Imported custom normals are not working with mirror modifier #44058

Ubuntu 14.04, 2x GTX 580

Blender Version
Broken: 2.74 RC2
Worked: x

Short description of error
Imported custom split normals are not used for mirrored parts using mirror modifier.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Import geometry via fbx/obj with custom split normals.
  2. Add mirror modifier.

BTW having custom split normals after all in blender is totally awesome if you had to work with cad converted geometry (ProE/Solidworks and so on). Thank you for integrating this to blender - you guys are awesome!

Ouch, yeah, getting clnors to work with generative modifiers is not really possible in general case currently (well, could be, but would require a hell of code in all those)…

Yet, would be nice at least for some like mirror, will try it.
